Father Francis Damoah is a member of the Divine Word Missionaries and studied at Saint Augustion de Kinshasa. He is front Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo. He was ordained in 2012. His Native Language is French. "May it be done to me according to your word." (Luk 1, 38b)
 
Administrator - Ms. Denise Troutman [email protected]
Ms. Denise Troutman is the principal at North Little Rock Catholic. She has four degrees from UALR, UCA, and Loyola University in Louisiana. Ms. Troutman holds degrees in Early Childhood, Middle School, Administration and Theology. She has been with St. Mary's School since 1969. Within those years she has taught Jr. High, Art class, and P.E. She was also the volleyball coach, and librarian. Mrs. Troutman has 5 children, 12 grandchildren, 1 great-granddaughter and 1 great grandson.
 
4th Grade/Angela Owen [email protected]
Angela Owen, 4th Grade Teacher. I am a wife and a mom of two amazing daughters, Mary Helen and Annabelle. Our family has been a part of the NLRCA School for over 5 years and we call Saint Mary’s Catholic Church our home. I graduated from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock with a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and a Minor in Studio Art in May 2015. In the past, I have been a daycare teacher, youth softball coach, youth cheerleading coach, and this year assistant volleyball coach for our girls 7th-8th grade teams. I love teaching the fourth grade! Each day our class is filled with wonderful, new experiences.
 
1st Grade/Annette Sterl [email protected]
Mrs. Sterl attended Catholic and public schools in Stuttgart and Hazen. She left her family's rice farm in Slovak to graduate from Henderson State University in Arkadelphia with a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Early Childhood. Her teaching experience has been in Hazen, Stuttgart, and Hot Springs. She has been teaching at NLR Catholic Academy since 2005. Her many hobbies range from decorating, cooking, crocheting, scrapbooking, and music among a few others. She is very devoted to her family which consists of her husband, Hans; her daughter, Julianna; her son and daughter-in-law, her parents, grandparents, older brothers, 5 nieces, and 1 nephew.

Becky Ketzscher has been at NLRCA since 2003, she is Married to Blake Ketzscher and they have Twin Daughters. They are Members of St Mary's Parish, and her girls attend NLRCA. She attended Mount St Marys, and Pulaski Tech. She received her CCOT in 2005 and her CDA in 2006.
 
Pk4/Betty Huddleston [email protected]
Ms. Huddleston has been at NLRCA since 1990. She has taught Pre-K4 since 1995 and was a teachers aide for 5 years. She received her CCOT in 2005 and CDA in 2006. She also works in the After School Care and Summer Care Program. Mrs. Huddleston and her family are members of St. Mary's Parish.

Ms. Harris attended school here at NLRCA. She is currently in school and plans to graduate in 2018 with a degree in Elementry Edudation. Elizabeth has work in our Summer Care Program since 2010. In 2015 she began working at NLRCA as our Pre-K 4 Teachers Aide.
 
Kindergarden/Jacque Armstrong [email protected]
Mrs. Jacque Armstrong received her B.A. in 1972 from West Virginia Wesleyan College in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. She has been an Early Childhood teacher since then teaching pre-k and kindergarten in New Jersey before moving to Arkansas and joining the St, Mary’s/NLRCA staff as kindergarten teacher. When not teaching Mrs Armstrong has been involved with both Girl and Boy Scouts, the AR Reading Council, Heritage Seekers Genealogy Club, and is Regent of Prudence Hall DAR. In her spare time she enjoys quilting, reading, and genealogical research and singing in her church choir.
 
Title One/Jane Tillery
Mrs. Tillery is a former teacher and principal in both public and private schools, in Arkansas and Oklahoma. After retirement, she was employed as a Math Coach/Instructional Interventionist for the NLR Public School District. She is certified in all academic areas from PK to 8th grade, including Early Childhood, Reading, Math, Language, Science, and Social Studies. She is a lifelong member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in NLR and is a Eucharistic Minister, Sacristan, Lector, and Choir Member. She has 2 children and 6 grandchildren. Mrs. Tillery says that the greatest joy is the children in her life, both at home and at NLRCA.
 
5th Grade/Kim Holliday [email protected]
Mrs. Holliday teaches 5th grade. She graduated from the University of Central Arkansas with a degree in Sociology and a minor in Psychology. She also has a degree in Elementary Education and 15 hours towards a Master’s degree in Elementary School Counseling. She taught in NLR Public Schools before staying home to raise her family. She began teaching at NLR Catholic Academy in 2007. She enjoys reading and spending time with her husband and 3 children.

7th Grade/Melody Denise Sharp [email protected]
Melody Denise Sharp teaches 6th, 7th, and 8th grade Math along with 7th grade Language Arts at North Little Rock Catholic Academy. She is from North Little Rock, Arkansas and attended grade school here at NLRCA (formerly St. Mary’s). She is a graduate of Mount St. Mary’s and the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Ms. Sharp began teaching at NLRCA in August of 2004. She has two daughters that have also graduated from this school. Brittany, class of 2003 is currently a Forensic Chemist. And Amanda, class of 2005 is completing her Master’s degree in Communication while looking into Ph.D. programs.
 
PK3/Michelle Perna-Pogue
Mrs. Pogue and her siblings are all graduates from St. Mary’s. She is currently an aide in Pre K 3 and says she loves all the excitement in their classroom!
 
3rd Grade/Nuria Bran [email protected]
Mrs. Bran began teaching at NLRCA in 2002. She is originally from Guatemala, Central America. Mrs. Bran recieved her teaching license at the National Institute Centro America (INCA). She enjoys spending time with her husband of 35 years, children and grand children.
 
8th Grade/Susannah Edwards [email protected]
Susannah Jarrell Edwards graduated with a degree in English, minors in theater, history, and earth science from the University of Arkansas in 1994. She completed the secondary education program at the university the next year, and began teaching at North Little Rock Catholic Academy (formerly St. Mary’s School) in August 1996. She has taught seventh and eighth grade English and history since, adding sixth grade social studies in 2007. Mrs. Edwards is married and has three children who have attended NLRCA, including a son who graduated in 2012, a daughter who will graduate in 1917, and a third son who will graduate in 2021.
 
6th grade/Teddy Gonzales [email protected]
Teddy Gonzales is the 6th, 7th and 8th grade Science Teacher, He is originall from Blytheville, Arkansas, where he graduted from Blytheville High School in 1989. He attended Harding University in 1989 where he played college football and was a 3 year letterman. Teddy Gonzales is currently the 7th and 8th grade head football coach for Immaculate Conception School, he is also an AAA/AOA Division 1 Basketball, baseball. and softball official. While at Harding University, he was a member of the 1989 Arkansas Intercollegiate Conference football championship team. He graduated at Harding with a Bachelor of Arts in Management and Leadership. Teddy Gonzales has a 15 year old son Nicolas who is currently attending Catholic High School.
